Services that EMPOWER YOU
Navigating child loss can be hard! It can be even more challenging trying to do it alone. We want you to feel empowered whether you are grieving by yourself or within the safe emotional space of another. The Child Loss Center partners with agencies to provide counseling and yoga, shares other providers familiar with child loss, provides activities that can be used to process grief, and mails care cards to parents impacted.
Mental Health Counseling
In partnership with Play Wellness LLC, five (5) mental health sessions can be provided to assist parents who live in Georgia or North Carolina with processing child loss. The first session is dedicated to gathering important information about your life and loss. Subsequent sessions help you to explore thoughts and feelings (with the option to engage in Brainspotting, as it requires no talking if desired). Payment for each session is donation based and proceeds go to the Child Loss Center.
This series of online yoga classes is in partnership with Nurture and Nourish Yoga and offered to anyone grieving the loss of a pregnancy or baby. The class is offered once per month and includes gentle practice with breath work, mindful movement to support you in being with your grief and connecting kindly and compassionately to your body and mind with the option to share your thoughts and feelings. Payment for the class series is donation based and proceeds go to the Child Loss Center.
This is a list of providers across the country who are dedicated to providing diligent care to families who have experienced child loss. If you would like to add a provider who is well-informed and who provides caring services, please contact us with the necessary information. If you notice a provider listed who displays poor service, please also contact us to let us know. These providers are shared as a courtesy and are not affiliated with services provided by the Child Loss Center.
Mail a Care Card
If you are a parent impacted by child loss or if you know of someone else impacted by child loss, please contact us to mail a care card. It's the little things that make a huge difference!
